Three reasons:

1. Matthew helped me buy a domain name for my own site and blog, and I've been half-heartedly working on getting WordPress set up there for ... an embarrassingly long time. I'll be moving my Xanga archive over there when that's done.

2. My "voice" is changing. It's like blogging puberty. : ) It's still cracking right now, so I'm not feeling ready to speak in public. When it stabilizes into its new depth, I will be ready for that new venue for it.

3. I have not stopped communicating, but I have been channeling my communications into one-on-one efforts. In emails, chats, phone calls, and face-to-face conversations, I've been communicating. I've been trying out this new voice on a few dearly trusted individuals. It's more honest, more broken, and more real. And that's scary.

I look forward to communicating with all of you soon. Thanks for being patient.

1. I have started blogging at Wordpress again but have stopped cross-posting because Xanga is dying. I don't know if I want to bring my archives over there, because it's like posting old embarrassing pictures. Lol. I can't wait to see your site! I haven't designed one in ages and I know you are putting a lot of thought into it and getting a lot of collaboration on it.

2. I am trying to get my old voice back but I think I have two and I'm afraid of using the more private one.

3. I am grateful to be your guinea pig. :)
